The Problem
Fishing often starts before sunrise. At around 4 a.m., fishers are already moving across the water and casting their nets in low visibility. Better light matters for seeing where they are going, where the nets are landing and what is happening around the gear.
What We Built
We built Ankor, a compact battery-powered clamp lamp that fixes to a boat surface and keeps light close to the people, nets and tasks on board.
Key Features
Clamp mounting
Uses a clamp mechanism designed to secure the lamp to a surface.
Directed LED light
Uses a 3W cold-white LED for focused lighting.
Rechargeable battery
Uses a 3000mAh, 4V Li-ion battery.
Use Cases

Fishing boats
Can be clamped near nets, gear, catch or working surfaces.

Dockside preparation
Can be positioned during sorting, packing or equipment checks.

On-water tasks
Designed to place light closer to the work happening on board.
